You can book a bus & ferry ticket by Island Travel Koh Tao by Lomprayah company that will take you to Koh Tao safely and comfortably for 1,100 baht.

By train and ferry from Hualamphong (Train Station) to Koh Tao you can take a night train, sleeping comfortably from Bangkok to Chumpon and can take the Lomprayah shuttle service for 100 baht by Lomprayah taxi from Chumpon train station to the Lomprayah pier. You can buy a ticket for the night train at Hualamphong station and will cost you 700-900 baht for a sleeper bunk with aircon (cheaper fan option also available).
